Surrounded with beautiful city lights of sprawling Taipei skyline through soaring floor-to-ceiling glazed walls, YEN Bar is located on top floor of W Taipei,  a popular whisky bar with extensive drink menu selections. In collaboration with James Robertson Art Consultants, New Inc. was commissioned to design a custom art installation for the bar area. The concept of "blinking eyes" created to go with the alluring atmosphere of the bar which made into a different sized lenticular panels integrated onto the multi faceted mirror structure. Mixed panels of lenticular arts display different types of "winks", while the angled mirrors capture and reflect unexpected scenes such as ceiling light fixtures or a beautiful night sky filled with city lights. Depending on where the guests sit at the bar their view is constantly changing and remains interesting.
